John 2:19,22 Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.” . . . Therefore, when he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they came to believe the scripture and the word Jesus had spoken.
God’s presence with us is not limited to stone walls. God is alive in us in the person of the risen Jesus. The walls are down. Jesus is present in every place and in every time. If we look at our world with the eyes of faith, we will see God’s presence. Then we can help others see the same as well.
How will my day today be different if I remember that Jesus is present everywhere I go and in everyone I meet?
Jesus, our brother, you showed us the way to salvation. Help us to remember your words and to live in awareness of your presence.
