Your Prayer Discipline

As you begin your time with God, free your mind of all distractions. Breathe deeply several times. Open your mind and heart to God.

John 2:11 Jesus did this as the beginning of his signs in Cana in Galilee and so revealed his glory, and his disciples began to believe in him.

We humans are funny creatures. We are always looking for proof to validate our beliefs. What proof do we need, beyond the person of Jesus and the witness of his life and death? He manifested his love and revealed his glory so we might believe.

(Pray, using these words or those of your own.)

Christ Jesus, thank you for revealing to me your loving ways and for the invitation to love you in return.
