Intentional Faith

Curating a Life in Christ Through Daily Spiritual Disciplines

Every morning brings an invitation. Every evening offers reflection. Between them lies a day filled with moments where faith either flourishes or fades. Intentional Faith exists to help you choose flourishing.

A Different Kind of Blog

In our hurried world, quiet moments with God have become increasingly rare—and increasingly precious. We scroll through headlines, respond to messages, and manage responsibilities before our feet even touch the floor. Yet somewhere within us, a deeper longing persists: the longing to walk with God as naturally as we breathe.

Intentional Faith was born from a simple conviction: that spiritual growth does not happen by accident. It happens when believers choose, day by day, to cultivate habits of the heart—when they bind God’s truth to their fingers and write it on the tablets of their hearts, as Solomon urged. This website exists to walk alongside you in that sacred work.

The lack of faith that injures most of us is not in the impossible; it is in the failure to attend to the daily available. I must, as the apostle said, ‘press toward the prize.’ God, give us the faithfulness to not grow weary and slumber. Help us stay alert!

Since 2013, Intentional Faith has served believers seeking to deepen their relationship with Christ. What began as a ministry focused on developing in-person small groups has evolved into an internet-based resource designed to support your daily walk wherever you are—whether you’re reading over morning coffee, listening during your commute, or reflecting before sleep.

Each day begins with an invitation to sit with the Word

A Rhythm for Your Day

Each day at Intentional Faith follows a thoughtful rhythm—not a rigid schedule, but a gentle framework that meets you wherever you are in your spiritual journey. The resources here are designed to nourish your spirit from sunrise to sunset.

As the Day Begins

Morning meditations that anchor your heart before the world rushes in. These reflections address the quiet struggles of the soul—complacency, distraction, self-reliance—and call you back to vibrant dependence on God.

A Day in the Life of Jesus

Walk through the Gospels verse by verse, seeing Christ not as a distant historical figure, but as a present Lord who desires intimate fellowship with you today.  No greater desire could you harbor than to know Him better!

Thru the Bible in a Year

A guided journey through all Scripture—from Genesis to Revelation—with pastoral commentary that connects ancient wisdom to contemporary life. The renewal of the mind begins with the knowledge of the scriptures.

Did You Know & On Second Thought

Surprising discoveries from Scripture that deepen understanding, paired with reflections that invite you to pause and reconsider familiar passages with fresh eyes. Life lessons and surprising insights are yours to enjoy.

As the Day Ends

Evening devotionals that quiet the restless mind and remind you: God sees everything, hears every prayer, and invites you to rest in His perfect justice and timing. End your day with Him.

“Keep my commandments and live, and my teaching as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart.”— Proverbs 7:2–3

Resources for Pastors and Serious Students

While Intentional Faith serves all believers seeking spiritual growth, this ministry also provides specialized resources on their PAGES for those called to teach and preach the Word.

Exegetical Studies (Study)

Deep dives into biblical texts that examine historical context, Greek and Hebrew word meanings, and theological implications—moving from careful scholarship to practical application.

Study Frameworks

Complete study outlines with exposition, contemporary applications, and discussion questions to help pastors prepare messages that feed their congregations.

Biblical Question and Paradox

The life of a text and study is found in the paradox it brings to our lives. That biblical tension makes us dig deep not just to understand the Word, but also ourselves.

The Podcast

Audio reflections that tackle the tough questions others often avoid—exploring authentic discipleship, the cost of following Christ, and Spirit-empowered faith.

Your sacrifices reveal your true treasure. Service that costs us nothing—that aligns perfectly with our schedule, comfort, and desires—is merely preference. True obedience is revealed only when a cost is introduced.

— From “The High Cost of a Comfortable Faith”

Faith grows in the quiet spaces we carve out each day

Faith That Is Intentional

The word “intentional” sits at the heart of everything we do. In a spiritual landscape filled with quick fixes and surface-level encouragement, Intentional Faith invites you into something deeper—a sustained relationship with God cultivated through daily disciplines that have shaped believers for centuries.

This is not about performance or religious duty. It is about positioning your heart to encounter the living God. It is about binding His Word so tightly to your soul that it speaks in temptation, comforts in sorrow, and steadies you in uncertainty.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”— Galatians 6:9

Every blog and PAGE is crafted in thoughtful, inspirational prose with a conversational tone—designed not to lecture but to shepherd. The goal is not simply to inform your mind, but to form your heart. Whether you have five minutes or fifty, there is a place for you here.

As you begin this new day, may the Lord bless your steps, your thoughts, and the quiet intentions of your heart. May He strengthen your spiritual walk and remind you that the good work He began in you will be carried faithfully to completion. You are not walking alone—you are walking with the God who leads, restores, corrects, and comforts.
