Our Father and our God, now and again, the issues of our lives seem too much for us. Forgive us our moods of despair that convince us we are marked for unique trials and sorrows. Speak to our faith that it might assert itself. Make us to remember that thou art still our refuge and strength, a very present help in the time of trouble. Send us forth to face our days armed with that faith that we might serve well our day and generation in the cause of truth and justice; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
