Joshua 7:1-8:35
Lesson: God encourages us to focus on Himself because He knows that in contemplating Him, we complete ourselves and bring all parts of our personality to health. To admire, appreciate, respect, and venerate the character of God is to awaken ourselves to reality.
Prayer: O Father, forgive me for the times I rush into Your presence intent only on getting my needs met. Slow me down and make me a more contemplative person. Then Your character can rub off on mine. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
