My Morning Prayer

Isaiah 65:16 (NIV) says:

“Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so by the one true God; whoever takes an oath in the land will swear by the one true God. For the past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my eyes.”

Derived from this verse, here’s a morning prayer inspired by the text:

“Heavenly Father, as I awaken to a new day, I come before You in awe and reverence. I invoke Your blessings upon this land, Knowing that You are the one true God, The source of all goodness and grace.

May my words and actions today show Your truth and love in everything I do. When things get tough and I need to make choices, help me to rely on Your holy name, because only You are the solid foundation of stability and honesty.

Lord, I surrender to You the past troubles and worries, Trusting that You will hide them from Your eyes. Help me embrace the beauty of this new morning, With a heart full of gratitude and hope.

Grant me the strength and wisdom to overcome obstacles, along with the compassionate heart to lend a helping hand to others. May Your presence be deeply felt in both my life and in this world, as I am committed to walking in Your ways and faithfully following Your commandments.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of another day, A fresh opportunity to live according to Your will. May Your blessings flow abundantly in this land, And may Your name be glorified forevermore.

In Your holy name, I pray. Amen.”
