Today’s Spiritual Disciplines

As we begin this new day, I pray the Lord’s blessing upon your walk with Him. May His presence guide your steps, His peace calm your heart, and His Word nourish your soul. The God who has begun a good work in you is faithful, and He will carry it on to completion. Let us walk together today in the rhythm of daily discipline and divine presence, trusting that each moment is an opportunity to draw nearer to Him.

Here is an overview of today’s devotional journey:

Blessed Is the One Who Fears the Lord — As the Day Begins
Psalm 112:1–2 reminds us that reverence for God leads to blessings that ripple through generations, shaping our lives and the legacy we leave behind.

Accepting God’s Invitation to the Great Banquet — A Day in the Life of Jesus
Luke 14:15–24 calls us to lay aside excuses and respond wholeheartedly to Christ’s invitation, stepping into the joy and abundance of His kingdom.

From Forsakenness to Faithfulness: God’s Covenant Love — Thru the Bible in a Year
Ezekiel 16 portrays both the seriousness of sin and the relentless mercy of God, reminding us that His covenant love is greater than our failures.

The Power of Praying for Others — Did You Know
Scripture affirms that prayer unites us with God’s purposes, brings healing, and even transforms our hearts toward those who oppose us.

Light in the Darkness — As the Day Ends
Psalm 112:4–5 offers evening peace as we reflect on God’s light shining even in dark times, calling us to live with compassion, generosity, and trust.

May these reflections encourage you, steady you, and deepen your faith journey. As you read, pause to listen for the Spirit’s gentle voice guiding you through today’s disciplines of grace.

Blessings on your walk with Christ today,
Pastor Hogg
