Today’s Spiritual Disciplines

May the Lord bless your walk of faith today. As you begin, remember this truth: the God who began a good work in you will surely carry it to completion. Each step you take in daily devotion, each moment of prayer or reflection, is part of His shaping grace. You are not walking alone; the Spirit goes before you, Christ intercedes for you, and the Father holds you securely. Enter this day with open hands and an expectant heart, ready to meet God in the ordinary rhythms of life.

Here is a glimpse of today’s spiritual disciplines to guide and strengthen you:

Mercy That Endures Forever – As the Day Ends reminds us through 1 Timothy 1:16–17 that God’s limitless patience transforms our failures into testimonies of His grace.

When Prayer Refuses to Quit – A Day in the Life of Jesus reflects on Luke 18:1–8 and calls us to live with the persistence of the widow who trusted God’s justice without giving up.

From Rebellion to Restoration – Thru the Bible in a Year takes us through Hosea 8–14, showing that God’s judgment is real, yet His mercy always has the final word in restoration.

Eternal Promises from the King – DID YOU KNOW highlights four inspiring truths: God is our Judge and Savior, Paul’s life is an example of mercy, Jesus offers living water to the thirsty, and praise restores order in our lives.

The Lord Who Governs Our Days – As the Day Begins draws on Isaiah 33:22 to remind us that the Lord is Judge, Lawgiver, and King—the One who both governs and saves His people.

As you move through these reflections, let them shape your faith journey and encourage you to live with greater trust and joy. The Lord is faithful, and His Word will nourish your spirit today.

Grace and peace,
Pastor Hogg
