As I Begin the Day…

1 Timothy 6:6 (New International Version)

“But godliness with contentment is great gain.”

Morning Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

As I begin this new day, I come before You with a heart filled with gratitude and reverence. I thank You for the precious gift of life and the opportunities that lie ahead. Help me to embrace the essence of godliness and contentment, for in them lies true abundance and fulfillment.

Grant me the wisdom to seek after the things that truly matter, to value spiritual growth, and to walk in Your ways. Let my desires be aligned with Your will, and may I find contentment in all circumstances, knowing that You are with me, guiding and providing for me at every step.

In moments of success, let me remain humble, acknowledging that all blessings flow from You. In times of difficulty, may I find strength and solace in Your presence, knowing that You are my refuge and my fortress.

Lord, open my eyes to see the needs of those around me, and fill my heart with compassion and love. Teach me to share my blessings generously, to be a source of encouragement and support to others on their journeys.

As I go about my day, help me resist the temptations of materialism and selfish ambition, and instead, let me focus on seeking Your kingdom and righteousness above all else.

I commit this day into Your hands, knowing that Your plans for me are good. Help me to be content, whether in plenty or in want, trusting that Your love and provision are more than enough.

In the precious name of Jesus, I pray.
