Today’s Prayer
Today, O Lord, we pray for the editors of the newspapers we read. They are given the weighty task of deciding what we finally hear about what we read. Grant them wisdom and insight to include those things that would change a life for the better and save another from harm. Let them see themselves not just as guardians of the truth but champions for those who must struggle with it. Let them cause us to think for ourselves and not forget You. Amen.
Amen
