THURSDAY MORNING
Lord God, I begin this day in the name of Jesus. Thank
You for the night of restorative sleep. (For those who
didn’t sleep well: Thank You for the sleep You did provide
and for watching over us when we were wakeful.) Thank
You, Creator God, for the gift of our bodies and the health
with which we live to serve you. Bless and protect both
our immediate and extended families. Guide the way we
use our energies both at home and at work. Bless our
neighbors, and help us to relate to them in ways that
reflect what You are like. Through us and others, help
them to perceive how gracious You are. Enhance joy
today. In Jesus’ name we ask it. Amen.
