Abiding in Jesus gives us confidence in prayer. Twice in John 15:7,16, Jesus says if we abide in Him we have power in prayer. Jesus teaches us that our waking hours should be a continuous experience of communion with Him. To do this means that we will arrange our lives, prayers, and silence in a way that Jesus is consciously present throughout the day.
