May you be strengthened from God’s boundless resources, so that you may meet whatever comes with endurance, patience, and joy, thanking God in the midst of pain and distress because he has made you fit to share what God has reserved for his people in the kingdom of light. He rescued us from the power of darkness and brought us away into the kingdom of his beloved Son. For it is through his Son alone that we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:11–14
Dear Father in heaven, we thank you. We want to be ready to thank you at all times. We look forward with joy to your kingdom and await the redemp¬tion that will free us to the very depth of our being, to the praise and thanks and honor of y our name. Be with the many people who come hungering and thirsting to you. Bring deliverance to those whose hearts are true, and let them know that the power of your kingdom is truly present here on earth in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
