Large Dose of Measles Vaccine Cures Woman’s Cancer

A woman’s cancer has reportedly been cured by a large dose of the measles vaccine. Recently publish research in the Mayo Clinic Proceeding tells the story of Stacy Erholtz, whose blood cancer had spread through her entire body and was no longer responding to traditional treatment methods. Doctors administered a massive dose of the measles vaccine—big enough to inoculate 10 million individuals—causing the cancer to go into complete remission. Though another patient who received similar treatment did not get the same results, doctors believe her case could represent a potential breakthrough in cancer research.
