‘Sherlock’ Is Returning, Sher-Heads.

Yesterday, the BBC announced that Sherlock would be returning for another season, because the BBC is not made up of idiots. When you’ve got a popular show, you keep making episodes. Of course, in the case of Sherlock there is quite a bit of time between episodes, so it wasn’t ever really a matter of if but when, and the when remains a bit nebulous. A one-off special will start filming in January of 2015, and a three-episode-long fourth season will film later in the year, so it’s anyone’s guess when it’ll actually premiere. All show-creator Steven Moffat would say is “Of course, it’s far too early to say what’s coming, but we’re reasonably confident that the very next thing to happen to Sherlock and John is the very last thing you’d expect.” The game is on …
