Andrew Garfield to Star in Martin Scorsese-Directed Movie about Jesuit Missionaries

Hollywood filmmaking icon Martin Scorsese is directing a new historical movie starring Andrew Garfield and Liam Neeson about 17th-century Jesuit missionaries. Based on a novel of the same name, Silence tells the story of a Jesuit priest (Father Rodrigues) who travels to Japan to find his missing mentor, who may have recanted his faith under duress.
