Matthew 27:51-56 Direct Access
The tearing of the Temple curtain symbolized Christ’s work on the cross. At Christ’s death, the barrier between God and man was split in two. Now all people can approach God directly through Christ (Hebrews 9:1-14; 10:19-22). Because of Christ’s ultimate sacrifice, we have direct access to God.
Lesson: You can talk to God about anything, at any time. Stay close to him.
