The Enemy’s Hope

The enemy’s hope for Christians is that we will either be so ineffective we have no testimony, or we’ll ruin the one we have.

According to Your Word, a man’s ways are in full view of the Lord, and You examine all our paths. The evil deeds of a wicked man ensnare him; the cord of his sin holds him fast. He will die for a lack of discipline, led astray by his own great folly (Prov. 5:21-23).
Lord, self-discipline is a fruit of the Spirit. Please fill me with Your Spirit and empower me with a self-discipline only You can give (Gal. 5:22-23).
God, please help me to love You with my whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, for this is Your priority for my life (Mark 12:30).Break my heart when I even think of doing what is dishonorable, Lord.
