Don’t Trust Google

Have you ever been riding along with someone in a car, when you know the way but your friend decides to use their GPS? After the third or fourth odd left turn they come upon a seemingly impossible intersection, no traffic light in sight, and the GPS insists crossing is the most direct way to get the car from point A to point B. “Where is this thing taking you? Turn it off, let me just show you the way!”

I’ll be the first to say I can’t survive without my GPS, but it still cannot replace someone who really knows the path… Someone who knows that you never want to get stuck turning left on Hillsborough Avenue after 4pm; it’s way better to go straight and loop through the back of the neighborhood.

There are many ways to get from point A to point B in life, but only when we walk hand-in-hand with Jesus can we really learn God’s path and be led in the ways of truth.
