Father, we want to align ourselves with You and Your holy word as we continue to live for Christ rooted and built up in Him, being strengthened in the faith. We seek You for spiritual discernment and power to act and stand on biblical principles rather than the ever-evolving hollow and deceptive philosophies so prevalent today. We have chosen to die to the basic principles of this world, those that are destined to perish based on human commands and teachings. Instead we focus on that which is in obedience to God’s blueprint for living on this side of heaven. It may be abnormal to the world but our citizenship is in heaven so we choose to identify with those whose thoughts and actions are aligned with heaven’s mindset, not the corrupt world in which we live. Keep us on the righteous path we pray. Amen.
