Father, there is no greater gift of grace that You can give us than Your only begotten Son who paid the penalty for our sin, who rescued us from this evil age. What a glorious rescue unlike any other. I am reminded of the words of the apostle Paul, “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable”. But our hope is not only for the life we live here and now but for life eternal. Because we are made alive in Christ and our last enemy, death, will be destroyed we have a glorious eternal future because of Your amazing grace. Amen.
