Awakening…

Hebrews 9:24 says, “For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.”

Morning Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

As we embark upon this new day, we come before You with grateful hearts, seeking Your divine presence and guidance. We are reminded of the powerful words in Hebrews 9:24, where it says that Christ has entered into heaven itself, appearing in Your presence on our behalf. Help us, O Lord, to take this verse to heart and fully understand its significance.

In the midst of our busy lives, it is easy to forget the truth that our Savior, Jesus Christ, stands before You as our advocate and intercessor. He has entered into Your holy presence, not in a physical temple made by human hands, but in the very heaven itself. How awe-inspiring and humbling it is to know that we are never alone, for Christ is always by our side, interceding for us and presenting our prayers and needs before You.

Father, as we start this day, we ask for Your grace and wisdom to help us grasp the profound truth of Christ’s role as our mediator. Remind us that we can approach Your throne of grace with confidence, knowing that we have a high priest who understands our weaknesses and sympathizes with our struggles.

May this understanding fill us with hope, peace, and reassurance. In times of doubt, may we remember that Jesus is our advocate, and through Him, we have access to Your boundless love and mercy. Help us to lean on Him and place our trust completely in His finished work on the cross.

Lord, empower us to live in the light of this truth throughout this day and every day. Let it guide our thoughts, words, and actions. May we reflect Your love and compassion to those around us, just as Christ exemplified while He walked this earth.

We thank You, Heavenly Father, for the gift of Your Son, who intercedes for us and brings us into a deeper relationship with You. As we carry the message of Hebrews 9:24 in our hearts today, may it transform our lives and draw us closer to You.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray.

Amen.
