“Ecclesiastes 7:8” states: “Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”
Morning Prayer:
O Gracious and Merciful Father,
As we begin this new day, we turn our hearts and minds to You, seeking Your guidance, wisdom, and strength. We acknowledge that better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and we trust in Your divine plan for our lives.
Grant us the patience of spirit, dear Lord, for in our journey, we may face challenges and obstacles. Help us to remain steadfast in faith, knowing that You are with us every step of the way. In moments of frustration or weariness, may we find solace in Your comforting presence, knowing that You are working all things for our good.
Teach us, O Lord, to cultivate a spirit of humility and to cast away any pride that may hinder our relationship with You and with others. May we approach each day with a humble heart, seeking to serve and uplift those around us. May our words and actions be filled with kindness, compassion, and understanding, reflecting the love and grace You have bestowed upon us.
Grant us the wisdom to discern Your will, dear Father, and the courage to follow it faithfully. As we embark on this day’s journey, help us to align our desires and aspirations with Your perfect plan for our lives. May our endeavors be guided by Your truth and righteousness, and may they bring glory and honor to Your holy name.
We surrender our plans and ambitions into Your loving hands, knowing that You are the ultimate source of our success and fulfillment. May we trust in Your timing, for better is the end of a thing than its beginning. Help us to persevere with patience, knowing that You are working behind the scenes, bringing about a beautiful and purposeful outcome.
In Your infinite mercy, we pray for Your blessings to be poured upon us and those dear to us. Watch over us throughout this day, guarding us from harm and leading us in the paths of righteousness. May Your grace illuminate our minds, strengthen our spirits, and fill our hearts with gratitude.
In the precious name of Jesus, we offer this prayer, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will.
Amen.
