Matthew 5:7 states: “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.”
Morning Prayer: Gracious and loving Father, As we begin this new day, We come before You with hearts full of gratitude, Seeking Your mercy and guidance on our way.
Teach us, O Lord, to be like You, To show compassion and kindness to all we meet. For You have shown us abundant mercy, And in Your loving arms, we find retreat.
In a world often filled with harshness and strife, May we be a beacon of Your grace and light. Grant us the strength to extend a helping hand, To uplift the weary and bring hope in their sight.
Remind us, Lord, that mercy is not earned, But freely given, a gift from above. May we embody Your mercy in all we do, Reflecting Your boundless and unwavering love.
Guide us in the choices we make each day, That they may align with Your righteous ways. May our words be seasoned with kindness and truth, And our actions be a testament of Your praise.
As we go forth into this new morning, May Your mercy go before us, leading the way. Fill our hearts with compassion and understanding, And help us walk humbly, guided by Your sway.
We thank You, Lord, for Your endless mercy, And for the blessings You abundantly bestow. May we be vessels of Your compassion, Spreading Your love wherever we go.
