One Minute Reflection

What Is Jesus Doing Right Now?

As you navigate through the tasks and challenges of today, take a moment to reflect on the incredible truth that Jesus is not distant or detached from your life. Even now, He is actively engaged in His heavenly ministry, impacting your life in ways that are both profound and deeply personal.

First, consider that Jesus is ruling from His heavenly throne. He is not merely a historical figure but the reigning King over all creation. Ephesians 1:20 reminds us that He is seated at the right hand of the Father, with authority over every power and dominion. As you go about your day, let this truth bring you comfort and confidence—no matter what comes your way, Jesus is in control. His reign is characterized by truth, love, and justice, and His rule extends over every aspect of your life.

Secondly, Jesus is directing and empowering His Church. You are not alone in your walk of faith. Matthew 16:18 assures us that Jesus is building His Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Whether you are facing a personal struggle or working to serve others, remember that Jesus is actively guiding you. He empowers you through the Holy Spirit to fulfill His purposes. Lean into His strength and wisdom, knowing that He is with you in every endeavor.

Finally, and perhaps most beautifully, Jesus is interceding for you. Romans 8:34 tells us that He is at the right hand of God, making intercession for us. What a comforting thought! Jesus, your Savior, is praying for you, advocating on your behalf. When you feel overwhelmed, weary, or even guilty, remember that Jesus is pleading your case before the Father. His prayers are for your protection, your growth, and your ultimate salvation.

As you move through your day, let these truths anchor your soul. Jesus is not only reigning in heaven; He is actively involved in your life—ruling, directing, and interceding. Take a moment to thank Him for His ongoing ministry and allow His presence to guide your thoughts, actions, and prayers today.
