Luke 20:41-44 (KJV)
And He said unto them, “How say they that Christ is David’s son? And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, ‘The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit Thou on My right hand, Till I make Thine enemies Thy footstool.’ David therefore calleth Him Lord, how is He then his son?”
Meditation on Luke 20:41-44

Prayer to the Father

Prayer to the Son
Lord Jesus, my Redeemer and King, I worship You as the One who sits at the Father’s right hand, the One whom David called Lord. I thank You for revealing Yourself to me through these words, for showing me that You are both approachable in Your humanity and sovereign in Your divinity. Help me, Jesus, to see You as David saw You—not just as a great teacher or prophet but as the One who holds all authority in heaven and on earth. In times of doubt and challenge, remind me that You are the victorious King, that nothing in my life is beyond Your reach.
