Today’s Five Spiritual Disciplines

As the Day Begins: Seeking God’s Love and Guidance
Psalm 143:8 reminds us to start each morning by turning our hearts toward God’s unfailing love and seeking His direction. Before the demands of the day take hold, we anchor ourselves in His Word and His will, trusting that He will guide our steps.

Called and Chosen: The Twelve Who Changed the World
In Mark 3:13–19, Jesus calls twelve ordinary men to follow Him, demonstrating that God does not choose based on qualifications but on willingness. This reminds us that discipleship is about faithfulness, not perfection, and that God uses those who are simply willing to follow.

Claiming the Promise: The Allotment of the Land
Joshua 18–20 highlights God’s faithfulness in fulfilling His promises. Yet, the Israelites had to step forward in faith to claim their inheritance. Just as they had to act in obedience, we, too, must step out in faith to receive all that God has for us.

When Depression Strikes: Finding Hope in the Wilderness
Elijah’s story in 1 Kings 19 reminds us that even spiritual giants can experience deep discouragement. Yet, God met Elijah with grace, sustenance, and renewed purpose. This passage teaches us that God does not abandon us in our struggles but provides strength for the journey.

As the Day Ends: Strength for Tomorrow
Joshua 1:9 calls us to be strong and courageous, not because of our own abilities but because of God’s presence. As the day comes to a close, we find peace in knowing that He is with us, both in our victories and in our uncertainties.

Thank you for taking the time to study the Word and follow the Lord. May His presence guide you in every moment, strengthening your faith and deepening your trust in Him.
