Heavenly Father, as we begin this new day, we seek Your blessing upon our walk with You. Guide our hearts as we open Your Word, shape our thoughts through Your wisdom, and lead us to love and worship You more fully through the disciplines of study, reflection, and prayer. May Your Spirit draw us closer to Christ in each moment and help us live out these truths with humility and grace.
Here are today’s readings and reflections:
1. As the Day Begins: A Morning Meditation on Proverbs 8:11
We are reminded that godly wisdom is more precious than rubies and nothing we desire compares to her. This meditation invites us to begin the day seeking divine wisdom that aligns us with God’s eternal purposes.
2. Beware the Yeast: A Day in the Life of Jesus
In Mark 8:13–21, Jesus warns against the subtle influence of pride and legalism, reminding His disciples—and us—not to forget the miraculous faithfulness of God. We are called to remember, not just to observe.
3. When God Speaks: The End of Job’s Journey
Job 38–42 closes with God speaking directly from the whirlwind. Job’s repentance, God’s justice, and a double restoration reveal that faith deepens not through answers but through a clearer vision of God’s glory.
4. Face to Glory: Rediscovering Worship
Ezekiel’s vision in chapters 43–44 teaches us that true worship begins when we see the glory of the Lord and fall facedown. We are encouraged to move beyond routine and pursue the presence of God in both church and personal devotion.
5. As the Day Ends: A Meditation on Proverbs 8:13
As the day closes, we reflect on what it means to fear the Lord by hating evil. We are challenged to examine pride, behavior, and speech, and to grow in spiritual integrity.
Thank you for investing your time and attention to the care of your soul. Your commitment to these daily disciplines nurtures spiritual health and brings glory to our Father in heaven.
