Did You Know
Did you know that every sunrise is a reminder that God’s greatness is beyond full comprehension? Psalm 145:1–3 tells us, “The Lord is great and worthy of our praise; no one can understand how great He is.” That means the most brilliant minds, the most skilled poets, and the most passionate worshipers have only scratched the surface of who God is. Think about it—when we stand at the edge of a canyon, look out over an ocean, or watch a sky streaked with dawn’s colors, we are catching whispers of His majesty. Each day, God gives us a fresh invitation to join in the chorus of praise that creation has been singing since the beginning. Every leaf, wave, and gust of wind carries a verse of that song.
When you choose to notice these moments and respond with praise, you step into a rhythm older than time itself. Your worship links you with David who penned these psalms, with the angels who cry “Holy, holy, holy,” and with believers around the world who are lifting their voices today. It is humbling and exhilarating to think that our praise becomes part of something so much bigger than ourselves—a continuous anthem that has no end.
Did you know that when the Lord decides something, it is unshakable? Isaiah 14:27 says, “When the Lord All-Powerful makes a plan, no one can stop it.” This means no earthly power, no unforeseen event, no change in circumstance can derail what God has purposed. History is filled with examples of kings and empires that rose and fell, but God’s purposes continued without interruption. He is not a distant observer, watching events unfold and scrambling to adjust His plans. He is the Author who writes every chapter with precision, knowing the ending before the first word is penned.
This truth should give you deep confidence. Life may throw unexpected turns your way, but you can rest knowing the One holding the pen never loses His grip. Even when you cannot trace His hand, you can trust His heart. The plans He has for you are not fragile or uncertain—they are as steady as His character. That’s why faith isn’t just hoping for the best; it’s resting in the reality that God’s will cannot be thwarted.
Did you know that God’s perfection is more than a theological concept—it’s a promise you can live by? Deuteronomy 32:3–4 describes Him as “a rock; what He does is perfect, and He is always fair.” A rock is strong, immovable, and dependable. When you build your trust on Him, you are standing on the most solid foundation in existence. His perfection means He never acts out of selfishness, never misjudges, and never fails to keep His word. This is the God who holds you in His hand.
When you face injustice or uncertainty, remembering His perfect nature changes how you respond. Instead of despairing, you can choose to trust that He is working all things together in absolute fairness. Instead of fearing, you can stand firm on the truth that He will not fail you. His perfection is not just something to admire—it is something to stand on when everything else feels unstable.
Did you know that creation itself is a living gallery of God’s power, beauty, and creativity? From the carving of canyons to the delicate petals of wildflowers, every detail reflects a part of His nature. The same hand that flung stars into space also shaped your very soul. In creation, you see His splendor in the vast, His delicacy in the small, and His power in the forces of nature. But it is in humanity—His image-bearers—that you see the fullness of His design: mind, heart, and spirit crafted for relationship with Him.
Today, you will encounter His handiwork in big and small ways. It might be in the way the light filters through your window, in the smile of someone you love, or in the sound of rain tapping on the roof. Each moment is an invitation to stop and say, “I see You, Lord, and I thank You.” When you share that gratitude with others, you invite them into the wonder of His creation and the joy of knowing the Creator personally.
Did you know that the same God who shapes galaxies also shapes your life with the same power and care? If He has the wisdom to set the stars in place and the strength to carve mountains, surely He can handle the details of your future. The beauty you see around you is more than decoration—it’s a daily reminder of His presence and provision.
The challenge for you today is to live with eyes wide open to the evidence of God’s greatness in your world. Don’t let the routine make you blind to the extraordinary. When you see beauty, give Him thanks. When you notice strength, recognize His hand. And when you feel small in the face of something vast, let it lead you to worship. This is how you weave praise into the ordinary moments, turning your day into an ongoing conversation with the Creator.
