As we begin this new day, I pray the Lord’s blessing upon your spiritual walk. May He steady your heart with grace, strengthen your steps in faith, and remind you that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to bring it to completion. Enter the rhythm of daily discipline and the gentle nearness of God’s presence.
1. Knowing Christ and Sharing His Resurrection – As the Day Begins
Philippians 3:9–11 calls us to rest in Christ’s righteousness, to seek the power of His resurrection in our ordinary moments, and to walk with Him—yes, even through sufferings—as a living testimony of hope.
2. Handwriting on the Wall and Lions in the Den – Thru the Bible in a Year
Daniel 5–6 contrasts the collapse of pride with the preservation of faith: God weighs kingdoms, humbles the arrogant, and delivers those who trust Him through steady, prayerful devotion.
3. When Faith Confronts Fear – A Day in the Life of Jesus
John 11:45–53 shows hearts divided before undeniable truth; yet God’s sovereign plan moves through human schemes, turning plotting into the pathway of salvation for His scattered children.
4. Anchored in Hope – DID YOU KNOW
From Scripture’s promises we learn that mercy gives us a living hope, faith—rather than works—makes us right with God, and His unbreakable Word anchors the soul amid uncertainty.
5. Anchored in the Storm – As the Day Ends
Hebrews 6:19 invites evening rest in Christ: our hope is a firm and secure anchor that holds us fast and ushers us into the Father’s presence with quiet confidence.
May these devotions guide you into prayer, reflection, and courageous trust as you continue your faith journey today. The Lord is faithful to finish what He has begun in you.
Blessings in Christ,
Pastor Hogg
