Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you with hearts full of gratitude and thanksgiving for the gift of your Son, Jesus Christ, who became flesh and dwelt among us. We are humbled and awed by the depth of your love for us that you would send your only begotten Son to live, suffer, and die for our sins.
Lord, we recognize the immense faith and trust that Mary had when she said, “Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word.” May we too have hearts that are willing to surrender to your will and trust in your plan for our lives.
Thank you for the sacrifice that you made through the Incarnation of Christ. We are grateful for the way that Jesus came to us as a helpless baby, born in a manger, to show us your love and to reconcile us to you.
As we reflect on the miracle of the Incarnation, may we be reminded of the precious gift that you have given us through your Son. May we be filled with a renewed sense of wonder and awe at your amazing love for us.
Help us to live our lives in a way that honors your Son and the sacrifice that he made for us. May we be faithful servants who are willing to follow you wherever you lead us.
In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
