A Change for the Blog

Tomorrow, you will notice a few changes in our blog. Our commitment is providing a platform for discipleship to our Lord Jesus Christ. We will continue to provide morning and evening mediations and prayers drawn a scripture from the Life of Christ. (As the Day Begins & As the Day Ends) Likewise, we will do a morning exegesis of that text and an afternoon exegesis of the same. (Into the Word & Out of the Word).

We will continue with three types of post which you have helpful. The first is Praying the Scripture and the second is Preaching the Scripture. The first draws from a scriptural prayer, and the second is a daily sermon summary for your inspiration. The third daily post will be taken from one of the Wisdom books of the Psalms, Proverbs or Ecclesiastes.

We are adding three new types of posts to offer you a more comprehensive support for your Christian worldview and responding to the issues of the world and faith. The first is a summary of five (5) news stories of the day taken from the perspective of the Christian in what to pray for and work toward. In addition, we will be including a human interest story that demonstrates the power and beauty of what’s possible when faith is acted upon in this life. The final post we are adding will be a deeper investigation into discipleship and theological issues. We understand that this post has a more targeted audience, but we believe that all Christians would profit from it.

Again, thank you for your comments and encouragement. This is a not-for-profit ministry that is supported by the generosity of a few stalwart Christians. What we covet from you most is your prayers and your sharing any post that speaks to you.
