A Prayer of Worship and Surrender
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?”

ADORATION
Heavenly Father, I come before You in awe and reverence, adoring You for Your unwavering care and provision. You are the Creator and Sustainer of all life, the One who provides for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field. How much more do You care for us, Your children! I praise You for Your infinite wisdom, which surpasses all understanding, and Your abundant love, which casts out all fear. In Your goodness, You remind us that life is more than food and the body more than clothing. You are the Giver of life, and in You, we find our true worth and purpose. I worship You, Lord, for being our faithful Provider and the source of all we need.
CONFESSION
Lord, I confess that there are times when I allow anxiety and worry to consume my thoughts. Instead of trusting in Your provision, I often seek security in material things and earthly comforts. Forgive me, Father, for the moments when I doubt Your goodness and fail to rest in Your care. I acknowledge that these fears reveal a lack of faith and a misplaced focus on worldly concerns. Cleanse my heart from this sin, and help me to trust in You fully, knowing that You are always faithful to meet my needs. Lord, forgive me for the times I have allowed worry to overshadow my faith in Your promises.
THANKSGIVING
Gracious Father, I thank You for the peace that comes from knowing that You are in control. I am grateful that I do not need to be anxious about my life because You are my Provider, caring for every detail of my existence. Thank You for the assurance that my life is more than the physical needs I often focus on. You have given me the gift of life itself, and I am deeply thankful for Your provision, which is far more abundant than I could ever imagine. Thank You, Lord, for the freedom to live without fear, knowing that You are a loving Father who always provides for His children.
SUPPLICATION
Lord, I come to You in humble supplication, asking for Your continued provision in my life. Help me to trust You more deeply each day, especially when anxiety threatens to overwhelm me. I ask that You meet my needs as You see fit, providing the food, drink, and clothing that I require, but more importantly, the spiritual nourishment that sustains my soul. Give me the wisdom to discern what is truly necessary and the grace to live with contentment in whatever You provide. May I always seek first Your kingdom and trust that everything else will be added according to Your will.
CONSECRATION
Father, I consecrate myself to You today, committing to live in obedience to Your word as found in Matthew 6:25. I ask for Your help in surrendering my worries and anxieties, choosing instead to trust in Your perfect provision. Grant me the strength to prioritize Your kingdom above all else, knowing that as I do, You will take care of my needs. Help me to live each day with a heart of gratitude and a mind focused on the eternal, not the temporary. May my life reflect a deep trust in Your promises and a commitment to seeking Your will in all things.
INTERCESSION
Lord, I lift up my brothers and sisters in Christ who are struggling with anxiety and worry. Many are burdened by the cares of this world, unsure of how their needs will be met. I ask that You would surround them with Your peace, reminding them of Your faithful provision. Strengthen their faith, Lord, so that they may rest in Your care and trust in Your goodness. I also pray for those who are facing financial difficulties or material lack. Provide for them in miraculous ways, Lord, and use Your church to be a source of support and encouragement in their time of need.
Lord, we come before You, having adored You for Your goodness, confessed our failures, and given thanks for Your provision. We have made our requests known to You, trusting that You will supply our every need according to Your riches in glory. As we consecrate ourselves to Your will and intercede for others, we are reminded of Your faithfulness and love. Help us to carry these truths in our hearts throughout the day, living in the peace and assurance that You are with us always. Amen.
